My new Companion
Number 2 son seems to be enjoying Doctor Who with me. We watched "Smith and Jones" and the "Shakespeare Code" back to back. Now, for a kid whose tastes run to robots and monsters, so I was pretty confident he would like the Judoon platoon on the Moon, but was pleased to find he enjoyed the Shakespeare episode as well.

Now we have moved on to "Runaway Bride" and "The Lazarus Experiment" He guffawed at Runaway Bride, he loved the slapstick, the Segways and the Giant Raxnos Empress, which opened a discussion of the Rachni (sic) another ferocious spidery alien. I am so pleased with how much of the humor he is getting. Watching Doctor Who with a 12 yr old boy, is like watching it for the first time. I feel like the Doctor showing a new companion around space and time. It's fun.
